My passion for photography goes back to the 7th grade. I was fortunate to have someone introduce me to photography and the rest is history. By the eight grade I saved up all my money to buy a Canon AE-1 camera with a 50mm lens, processing black and white film and prints in the school darkroom. During College I took a few photo classes and worked in a One Hour Photo Lab.
In early 2009 a chance encounter with a barred owl and my new Sony Alpha A350 set ablaze my renewed interest in photography. Raptors led to other birds, wildlife and nature photography. By sharing the beauty of the world around us with my photography, it is my hope to educate people about the wonders of our world and inspire them to help conserve these amazing animals. My current gear is a Sony Alpha A900 and A77.
